Our Above Ground stations work by eliminating the worker termites that cause the destruction to your property. With careful baiting and monitoring by our trained professionals, we guarantee to eliminate the termite colony attacking your property. Specially designed Exterra Monitoring Stations are placed at carefully selected points in the ground around the perimeter of your home.
Each Exterra Station contains pieces of non-toxic timber that termites are known to prefer to eat and are installed where foraging termites are able to easily find.
The stations are inspected regularly and when termites have been detected, the bait, called Requiem, is then introduced without disturbing the termites. This bait contains Alpha cellulose which is the termite’s favourite food and Requiem the active ingredient which kills the colony.
Exterra’s greatest advantage compared to chemical barriers is its ability to eliminate the actual source of your termite problem, the termite colony itself.
